Bipolar disorder is a mental health disorder that may cause extreme changes in your mood. Sometimes you may experience depressive symptoms like feeling sad, tired, and have difficulty enjoying things. There may be other times you experience anxiety, insomnia, feel impulsive, talkative, irrational, or have increased energy. Women tend to suffer more depressive episodes & increased symptoms associated with their menstrual cycle and men tend to suffer more manic episodes.
